Pilot Program Notice
Last updated: 26 August 2026
Thank you for taking part in the Projexa pilot. This page explains what "pilot" means for how you're using the Service right now, alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Addendum — all of which already apply to your use of Projexa, in full, starting today.
What "pilot" means
Projexa is a live, working product, and we stand behind the data-protection and security commitments in our Privacy Policy and DPA — those are real and already in effect, not aspirational. But we're an early-stage company, and two things are true right now that won't always be:
- Our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and DPA have not yet been reviewed by a solicitor. We've written them carefully and in good faith, based on how the app actually works — but they haven't had a formal legal review yet. We're in the process of engaging one. If that review changes anything material, we'll notify every pilot Customer by email and give you the chance to review the change before it applies to you.
- We don't yet commit to an uptime SLA (also stated in the Terms, §7). We aim for high availability and monitor the Service closely — see our Incident Response Summary — but we're not yet at the point of a contractual guarantee.
What this means practically
- You can use Projexa for real client and project data during the pilot — the security and data-handling commitments in our DPA and Privacy Policy already apply in full.
- Our liability under the Terms (§11) is capped at the fees you've paid us in the preceding 12 months. For pilot Customers on a free or reduced-rate basis, that cap is correspondingly small — we're stating this plainly here rather than leaving it only in Section 11's legal language.
- Nothing here narrows any right you already have under UK GDPR or consumer law that can't be excluded by contract.
What we're asking of you
- Real usage. The more Projexa reflects how your practice actually works day to day, the more useful your feedback is.
- Honest feedback — what's confusing, what's missing, what would make you pay for this.
- Please report anything that looks like a bug, a data issue, or a security concern to legal@getprojexa.com as soon as you notice it.
What you get for it
Pilot Customers who give us real, substantive feedback are eligible for 6 months of extended access once paid plans launch, at our discretion. There's no separate form for this — just take part, and we'll sort it out directly with you.
